Three managing partners
Three executives will replace Mr. Carr. One is Noel Cottrell, managing partner and executive creative director, who has been with the agency since December 2002. Two new hires, Matt Hofherr and Porter Gale, will also have the title managing partner.

In addition, Porter Pictures, a production company founded by Ms. Gale, an independent film director, will be "absorbed" by the San Francisco office, the company said in a statement. Mr. Hofherr has held positions at a number of San Francisco agencies over the years and most recently was working as a consultant, he told Adage.com yesterday.
