Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners West, San Francisco, now has 60 employees after cutting 10% of its staff, the first layoff in the shop's four-year history. Executives cited the tough business environment for some of its tech clients, PeopleSoft among them. Other clients at the shop include Cisco Systems and Mother's Cookies.
