Kmart names advertising exec

Kmart Corp., Troy, Mich., on Wednesday named Larry Davis, 52, to VP-advertising, reporting to Kenneth Watson, exec VP-marketing and product development. Mr. Davis, formerly a consultant to Young & Rubicam de Mexico on Sears' Mexico account, will be responsible for all aspects of the company's advertising program. He replaces Gerald Habeck, who resigned to join Tandy Corp.'s Computer City SuperCenters in September.
