Eastman Kodak Co., Rochester, N.Y., will sponsor a 20-city mall tour with new pop band Youngstown to continue its commitment to the youth market. The marketer will showcase the Kodak Max Flash single-use camera in the "Through Your Eyes" tour, which begins March 23 in San Francisco and climaxes with a show at the Mall of America in May. A photo contest tie-in invites teens to capture themselves and their friends involved in community service, with a grand prize package including a Youngstown concert and Kodak Max cameras for the entire school. The promotion also includes a partnership with Sam Goody, which will promote the mall events and sell special Youngstown Fan Packs that include the single-use camera. Teen Web site Alloy.com will host a mini-site highlighting the tour.
