Published on .

Eastman Kodak Co. selected Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, New York, for its new $50 million global branding campaign, beating out BBDO Worldwide, which relinquished its $30 million, nine-year-old Polaroid account to make the pitch. BBDO was a last-minute contender, invited by Kodak consultant John Sculley. O&M already held the new $15 million Kodak Digital & Applied Imaging account. J. Walter Thompson USA and Young & Rubicam retain their Kodak business.
