Kraft Foods, Northfield, Ill., made it official Sept. 7 that the marketer is reviewing its media agencies in order to consolidate about $800 million in media planning and buying in both the U.S. and Canadian markets. As earlier reported in Advertising Age
, media agencies aligned with their Kraft roster shops have been invited, including Starcom MediaVest
Group, MindShare and TN Media. Also competing in Canada is Optimum Media Direction, with which Kraft already has relationships. More information will be posted throughout the day on our Web site.
