Kraft sells Log Cabin syrup line

Kraft Foods agreed to sell its $100 million Log Cabin syrup business to MBW Foods, Columbus, Ohio, manufacturer of Mrs. Butterworth's syrup and pancake mix products. The sale is expected to be completed by early July. Included in the sale are Kraft's Country Kitchen syrup, export syrup products and foodservice products with the exception of syrup marketed in foodservice channels under the Kraft trademark. Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, New York, handles Log Cabin.
