Krystal review down to three

Krystal Co. has parted with agency Ogilvy & Mather, Atlanta, and is reviewing three contenders for the 380-unit Southeastern burger chain's $12 million to $15 million creative and media account. Director of Field Marketing Rick Appell wouldn't state a specific reason for the review, saying only that the company wanted something different from a creative standpoint. Ames Scullin O'Haire and Austin Kelley Advertising, Atlanta; and McKinney & Silver, Raleigh, N.C., are finalists. A decision is expected by mid-June. Wannamaker Associates, Atlanta, is the review consultant.
