Kummerfeld to become president of FIPP

Donald D. Kummerfeld will become president in May of the International Federation of the Periodical Press (FIPP), an association of international magazine publishers, replacing Per Mortensen. Mr. Kummerfeld was president-CEO of the Magazine Publishers of America from 1987-1999. He is currently chairman of Kummerfeld Associates, a New York consulting and investment-banking company he founded in 1995. Mr. Mortensen is joining Digital Convergence Corp. as director of international publishing.
