'L.A. Times' contracts out ad work

Times Mirror Co.'s Los Angeles Times will use outside newspaper production company AdOut, Los Angeles, to produce all display ads it previously created in-house for advertisiers. About 50,000 inches of advertising per week are involved, said AdOut. The move also involves an additional 7,000 inches per week of visual work for high-end Times advertising accounts.
