Mr. LaFlamme will move to company headquarters in Salt Lake City as CEO of EvansGroup Public Relations; he will manage PR operations at all Evans branches.
Formerly, Mr. LaFlamme was CEO of advertising and public relations in Evans' office here. He will remain in charge of the Seattle office's food group, which operates kitchens, food photography studios and a reference library for two dozen branded and commodity food clients.
He will be assisted by Andy Hopson, who's being promoted to chief operating officer for the public relations division from general manager for PR in the Seattle office.
Evans wants to double the size of its PR operation in the next five years and plans to achieve that growth through acquisitions and new business, CEO Jon Johnson said.
Dennis Miller will assume Mr. LaFlamme's role as CEO for advertising in Evans' office here. He formerly was chief operating officer. Steve Bryant will assume Mr. Hopson's former duties in Seattle with the title of deputy general manager.
Evans also operates offices in Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Phoenix. Its PR division currently consists of 35 people in Seattle and elsewhere. Clients for the PR wing include the American Soybean Association, Coors Brewing Co., a division of Weyerhaeuser Co. and the Washington Fruit Commission.
