Toyota Motor Sales USA deflates the balloons and oh-what-a-feeling frenetics of its fabled sell-a-thon retail ads with a hipper but more low-key campaign to promote spring sales. The new work, breaking March 13, uses time-lapse footage of spring blooms along with other lush images. The stars of the five spots-Toyota cars and trucks-evolve into unexpected icons of timepieces, drawings and animation. Saatchi & Saatchi/Pacific, Torrance, Calif., created the campaign with director Flavio Kampah of Kampah Visions, Venice, Calif.
