"Toy Story" creator Pixar Animation Studios adds to its ad portfolio with new spots for Hallmark Cards, starring scurrying refrigerator magnets. One of the :30s- Hallmark's first ads to use computer animation-centers on Valent ine's Day cards. Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, began working on the spots before "Toy Story" was released, but it used advance clips from the movie to help sell the idea to Hallmark. As Greg Bashaw, creative director on the campaign, noted, the fridge is the "bulletin board of the American family."
