Panasonic draws viewers through a blueprint for its camera coverage of the Summer Olympics in a new spot created by Dentsu, Tokyo. The commercial begins with a two-dimensional illustration of a stadium that gradually becomes the arena for competing athletes-three-dimensional Games played out on a two-dimensional architectural drawing. The spot is running in Europe, Australia and Japan. Matsushita Electric Corp., for its Panasonic brand, is one of 10 global sponsors of the Atlanta Games, which start in about two weeks.
