Details gets ready for school with its "Hooked-Up" college promotion. The effort includes a 28-page ad section in the October issue of the Conde Nast Publications magazine. The section is set up like a comic book, with advertisers' products, including MasterCard and Levi Strauss & Co.'s Silver Tab, placed in the plot line. Ads for the marketers also are included in the section.


Cover Girl Cosmetics supports its fall color collection-called Bewitch, Bejewel, Bedazzle-with a :30 featuring teen singer and TV actress Brandy. The star of UPN's "Moesha" sings an R&B version of the Cover Girl "Easy Breezy Beautiful" jingle. Supermodel Tyra Banks also appears in the commercial. The spot from Grey Advertising, New York, breaks today on network, syndicated and cable TV. Brandy is exclusively contracted to appear in TV advertising for the Procter & Gamble Co. brand.
