Published on .

It's amazing who comes out to do holiday shopping. In the case of discount retailer Service Merchandise Co., it includes Herman Munster and a certain L.A. police duo. The seven commercials from SLP&Co., New York, mix footage of "T he Munsters," "Dragnet" and "The Lucy Show" with Service Merchandise interiors. The holiday campaign is SLP's first work as Service Merchandise's agency of record. Copywriter: Shelly Palmer, agency president-creative director. Art directors: Jeff Daniels, Rob McGraw.
