Latam Web news provider goes wireless

RIO DE JANEIRO--Santiago, Chile-based Bnamericas.com, a leading Latin American industry-specific news provider, is to start distributing its free regional e-commerce news and information site, available in three languages, to wireless users.

The move follows an agreement with Coral Gables, Florida-based MovilGo Systems, which allows telecom carriers, content providers and corporate enterprises to connect with mobile Internet users. MovilGo users will be updated with free Bnamericas.com daily reports on 10 industry sectors, in-cluding e-commerce, telecom, oil & gas, electric power, mining, metals, infrastructure, privatization, banking and environment. All news is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

"We see MovilGo as a great start for the company to enter the mobile arena," says Greg Barton, CEO and founder of Business News Americas, about the launch of the service via the MovilGo network.

As well as daily stories, BNamericas.com also features archives with more than 150,000 stories compiled during the last four years, as well as a Fact File with contact details of more than 4,500 companies operating in Latin America.

BNamericas.com already provides content for leading media and Internet companies, such as CNNfn.com, CNN Brazil, CNNenEspanol, Starmedia, The Miami Herald, Lycos, Yupi, Pata-gon, the Financial Times, Dow Jones & Co., Latin Trade, iSyndicate and America Economia.
