Latin groups buys TV stations

Latin Communications Group, which owns New York's El Diario/La Prensa, has acquired two Florida Spanish-language television stations, marking their entry into electronic media. Peter Davidson, president of LCG, said the station acquisition launches the company on a program of acquiring Spanish-language print, radio, broadcast and cable television properties to build a national multimedia company.
