Launch Media hits the broadband highway

Published on .

Launch Media, Santa Monica, Calif., signed a deal with broadband software company Arepa July 15 enabling the interactive music company to send its content over cable modem services, such as @Home and MediaOne's Roadrunner. The deal allows Launch to send personalized content from its entertainment CD-ROMs to consumers. The company began its foray online last October when it launched myLaunch, a site that combines Launch's editorial content with recommendation software from Firefly.
