LDDS WorldCom, Jackson, Miss., the fourth largest long-distance carrier in the country, will next month launch a line of telephone debit cards, the first promotional project the company will be doing with its new spokesman, NBA superstar Michael Jordan. The company plans to eventually create traditional advertising campaigns using Mr. Jordan for both the residential and business markets.
