LDDS/WorldCom names Earle Palmer Browne

LDDS/WorldCom, Jackson, Miss., on Thursday chose Earle Palmer Brown Cos., Baltimore, to handle its $5 million-plus account. The agency will break a national TV and print campaign this spring featuring its new spokesman, NBA superstar Michael Jordan. Other agencies that participated in the review are: W.B. Doner & Co., Southfield, Mich.; Austin Kelly, Atlanta; and Gotham Group, Adler Boschetto Peebles & Partners and Avrett Free & Ginsberg, all New York.
