Leap completes Kang & Lee buy

Leap Group, Chicago, said it completed the acquisition of Kang & Lee Advertising, New York, and its West Coast operation, K&L West Advertising, which it described as the largest U.S.-based, full-service agency specializing in marketing to Asian consumer groups. Terms were not disclosed. Leap said K&L has capitalized billings of $60 million. In April, Leap acquired YAR Communications, New York, a specialist in marketing to Hispanic, Western and Eastern European and Middle Eastern consumers.
