Leo Burnett buys Web agency in Denmark

Published on .

COPENHAGEN--Danish antitrust authorities have cleared the sale of Copenhagen-based ad agency Neoldo to the global network Leo Burnett Co. and its Nordic subsidiary Leo Burnett Scandinavia. Founded in 1994, Neoldo specializes in Internet-based advertising solutions using digital technology and response monitoring systems.

Leo Burnett is the most acquisitive of the international ad agencies operating in Scandinavia. The company has grown through takeovers in the region since the mid-1990s, purchasing Sweden's Werne & Andren, Finland's Lab Advertising and Woldsdal & Partnere in Norway.
