Leo Burnett links with Dublin, Ireland agency

LONDON -- Leo Burnett Worldwide has formed a non-equity affiliation with Dublin, Ireland-based agency Young Advertising. Young will work closely with Burnett London to develop business that involves both Ireland and the U.K..

Young is Dublin's fifth largest full service agency, employing 38 people andhandling 30 national and international clients including Castrol, DeltaAirlines, EMI Records and drinks company Showerings. It was established in1943.

"Ireland is one of the European Union's fastest growing and most progressiveeconomies," says Kerry Rubie, group president of Leo Burnett's Europe/MiddleEast/Africa region. That region now has 35 full service offices in 34 markets;Ireland is the ninth European market in which Burnett has taken a presencesince 1995.
