Leo Burnett Taipei wins new business

Published on .

TAIPEI -- Leo Burnett Taipei has won four new clients in the past month bringing to 13 the number of new accounts this year.

Recent wins - which have doubled its client list since January - include Disney's Consumer Products (with advertising responsibilities in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China), the U.S. Hamilton Beach/Proctor Silex small appliances, Hong Kong-based casual clothing retailer Hang Ten and MTV.

The Disney business, which includes several branded lines for different age groups such as Disney Babies and Pooh and Mickey Unlimited (for teens), was snatched from DDB Needham. MTV's appointment follows its award of a multi-market assignment in Asia to LB Singapore in June.
