Kevin Green, newly named president at Lillian Vernon, will be evaluating customers and technology as he positions the almost 50-year-old specialty cataloger to compete online and also works to leverage the company name. "We'll be looking at new product lines for our catalogs as well as doing database analysis and market research," Mr. Green says. The company also will continue to increase its business-to-business operations, providing third-party fulfillment and call center work for other companies. "We need to play to our strengths and be very competitive," Mr. Green says.
