Levi's account director leaves FCB

Published on .

In another blow to the San Francisco office of Foote, Cone & Belding, Jack Rooney, 38, senior VP-worldwide account director on the $160 million Levi Strauss & Co. account, will leave to take a job as general manager of the new Leagas Delaney office in San Francisco. Mr. Rooney, who now oversees Adidas' U.S. efforts, headed the Levi Strauss account for the last five years. Mr. Rooney's departure follows the death last year of longtime Exec VP-Executive Creative Director Mike Koelker. A replacement for Mr. Rooney has not been named.
