Levi Strauss & Co. breaks a potentially controversial TV spot Feb. 23 on MTV Europe. In the commercial from Bartle Bogle Hegarty, London, a woman ducks into a men's room, sheds a disguise and changes into Levi's 501 jeans. Believing the other occupant, a man with a white cane, is blind, she provocatively buttons up her Levi's in front of him. After she dashes out, the TV viewer finds the young man was merely holding the cane for a blind friend in a stall.
