Liberty sells sports ventures

Liberty Sports, sports programming subsidiary of Tele-Communications Inc.'s Liberty Media programming unit, is selling four programming and sports related ventures to concentrate on its new partnership with Fox Sports. The assets being sold to the McMullen Group include: America One, a general entertainment broadcast network comprised of primarily low-power TV stations; the Liberty Sports Radio network; Prime Sports Interactive, an interactive programming venture developing fantasy sports league programming and various interactive applications; and the Women's Basketball Association. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
