Lifetime names woman CEO

Carole Black was named been named president-CEO of the Lifetime Television network. Ms. Black, formerly president-CEO, KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, is the first woman to head Lifetime, which brands itself as "Television for women." She succeeds Douglas McCormick. Lifetime is co-owned by ABC and Hearst Corp.
