California's rolling blackouts are beginning to dim the lights at some ad agencies. Executives at FCB Worldwide, San Francisco, received an e-mail March 20 warning them to turn off their computers and prepare for a power outage, which lasted about a hour. An FCB spokeswoman said some employees worked on the phone and others went outside "to enjoy the fresh air for a few minutes." -- Alice Z. Cuneo
