Lilly, LPGA create series

Eli Lilly & Co. and the Ladies Professional Golf Association have teamed up in a four-year partnership arrangement to create the Lilly Legends golf series. LPGA players who are 40 and older will compete for a $500,000 grand prize in the series by placing in full-field North American LPGA tournaments, starting with Thursday's JAL Big Apple Classic. The partnership also includes Lilly-produced public service announcements regarding women's health that will begin airing during NBC's coverage of the tournament this week.
