Liquor ad bill in U.S. House

Liquor advertisers are given one year to develop TV liquor ad guidelines or face guidelines developed and imposed by the Federal Communications Commission under legislation filed today by U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy (D., Mass.), an outspoken alcoholic beverage ad critic. The guidelines would have to address content, frequency, timing, placement and "balancing" of messages.
