Spot and local tv revenues reached $13.2 billion last year, according to Competitive Media Reports/Mediawatch estimates and figures released by the Television Bureau of Advertising in New York. Spot revenues, at $6.6 billion, were flat compared to 1994. Local TV revenues, also at $6.6 billion, were up from $6.3 billion in 1994. This year, with elections and the Olympics, is expected to see increases of 7%-9% for spot and local TV revenues, the TVB said.
