Loews signs on-screen ad deal

Loews Cineplex Entertainment Corp., New York, signed an estimated $60 million-plus long-term agreement with Technicolor Entertainment to place on-screen advertising at Loews Cineplex movie theaters. Technicolor will sell filmed advertising to appear before the feature presentation on about 1,800 Loews Cineplex screens in the U.S. The program is expected to debut in July. Loews Cineplex theaters currently run on-screen advertising in Asia, Canada and Europe.
