London shop wins $16 million international task for BT's systems consultancy

Published on .

LONDON--British Telecom's e-business consulting and integration unit, Syntegra, has appointed Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy, London, to handle its estimated $16 million international branding campaign.

There was no formal pitch. The incumbent was Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe, appointed before its merger last year with Young & Rubicam.

Syntegra is seeking to launch an integrated international campaign to position itself as a competitor to Andersen Consulting, IBM Corp., KPMG and new players like Razorfish.

Key international markets include the U.S., France, Germany, the Netherlands and parts of Asia, including Taiwan and Hong Kong.
