Long John Silver's Restaurants, Lexington, Ky., has given additional advertising duties to Doe-Anderson, Louisville. The shop, which has been creating advertising for Long John Silver's test products for the past 15 months, now will handle up to half of the 1,250-unit fast-food chain's $30 million account. Doe-Anderson will share duties, including some national broadcast work, with Lowe
& Partners/SMS, New York, which has had the account for about one year.
Separately, Lowe's first campaign for the brand last July, which featured a "Candid Camera'' approach using talking bags of food, won't be back. New work will focus more on food, a spokesman said. Doe-Anderson's recent work featured talking gold fish pitching variety platters.
