Looksmart this weeks launches a free 1-to-1 banner exchange program called Looksmart Clicks. The Web directory is touting this as the first 1-to-1 program, noting most banner exchanges require a Web site to show two ads before earning a free one. SmartAge, a provider of services for small and midsize online businesses, is supplying the technology for Clicks, which aims to drive traffic to Looksmart. San Francisco interactive agency Lot21 is launching an online campaign to promote the program.
