Looney Tunes to hit Thailand

Published on .

BEC-Tero Entertainment, the operator of public TV Channel 3, has acquired the exclusive rights from Warner Bros. to market its famous Looney Tunes cartoon characters in Thailand.

The company's plans for the characters will involve airing cartoon programs, merchandising, as well as establishing a Looney Tunes membership club, according to BEC-Tero's managing director, Brian Marcar.

Frito-Lay and Cathay Pacific have already signed on to advertise around the programs.
