Kellogg Co. breaks a national TV effort today for Special K cereal that builds on the anti-diet backlash. The spot, from Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, opens as if it's an old b&w spot for a doll called Diet Debbie. Debbie aims to lose 20 pounds by February. The spot then cuts to a picture of Special K with the pronouncement, "Why do we do this to ourselves each January. Let's just eat
