Lovejoy to succeed GM's Roy Roberts

General Motors Corp. named William Lovejoy, 59, to succeed Roy Roberts as group VP-sales, service and marketing in North America upon Mr. Roberts' retirement April 1. Mr. Lovejoy currently is VP-general manager of GM's service and parts unit. Mr. Roberts, 61, GM's highest-ranking African-American executive, oversaw GM's massive reorganization last year.
