Lowe buys direct marketing company

Lowe & Partners/SMS acquired direct marketing agency Fox Pavlika & Partners, New York. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fox Pavlika will merge with Lowe Direct into a new company, Lowe Fox Pavlika, with $100 million in billings. Mitchell Orfuss, the recently appointed CEO of Lowe Direct, New York, will be president of the new company; Fox Pavlika CEO Neil Fox will be chairman-CEO of the new company and Exec VP-Executive Creative Director Holly Pavlika will have the same title at the merged company.
