Lowe expands digital capabilities with agency stake

LONDON--The Lowe Group has taken a minoritystake in U.K.-based digital new media agency Head NewMedia. The agency will operate as a stand-along companywithin Lowe & Partners U.K. and will work with Loweagencies and clients "as appropriate."

Head is the third digital company Lowe has partneredwith in the past six months, following the creation ofU.K. digital management consultancy Decipher in August1998 and Dutch database marketing consultancy Creatidlast October.

Two-year-old Head New Media works in all aspects of digital new media, including intranets, extranets, interactive media kiosks, CD-ROM, DVD, interactive TV and Internet Web sites, for clients such as Mars, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the BBC.

Marc Cave is the executive VP of The Lowe Group withresponsibility for digital expansion.
