Lowe fills senior European post with O&M exec

LONDON -- Lowe & Partners Europe has named John Englehart to the newly created post of General Manager of the European network. He joins from Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, where he has worked for 14 years in the U.S., Southeast Asia and Europe. In his most recent London-based position as client services director of international business development, Englehart was responsible for all service to American Express Worldwide, excluding the U.S.

At Lowe, Englehart will report to Jerry Judge, chief executive of Lowe & Partners Europe and Adrian Homes, the unit's chairman and chief creative officer.
