LOWE LINTAS THAILAND SWEEPS UP $6.7 MILLION IN NEW BIZ

BANGKOK -- Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide here has acquired eight new advertising accounts during the past six months worth a total of $6.7 million, CEO Charuvarn Vanasin said.

Accounts include the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Petroleum Authority of Thailand, Charoen Phokphand Foods, as well as multinational companies Singer and Mercedes-Benz. The agency's portfolio now consists of 47% local and 53% multinational brands, compared to a ratio of 40 to 60 during the corresponding period last year. -- Thomas Schmid
