Chief strategy officer
Mr. Wright is chief strategy officer at Ogilvy, part of WPP Group. He joined Ogilvy in 1995, after stints at Berlin Wright Cameron (now Berlin Cameron/Red Cell, part of WPP), where he was a partner, and at Chiat Day (now TBWA/Chiat/Day), where he worked on the famed Energizer bunny account.
An Ogilvy representative declined to comment on a successor.
Lowe referred calls to Interpublic representatives, who did not returns calls by press time.
Mr. Wright's appointment comes at a tough time in the agency's history. Lowe has weathered a series of recent account losses, including HSBC's global work as well as business from Verizon Communications, Unilever and others.
Mr. Judge was named president of Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide following Lowe & Partners' merger with Interpublic sibling Ammirati Puris Lintas in 1999. He was promoted to CEO in 2001.
