Luminant Worldwide Corp., Dallas, which on Sept. 21 warned it will report a third-quarter loss and revenue shortfall of "less than 5%'' from the $40.2 million the i-shop reported in the second quarter (AdAge.com, Sept. 22), closed trading Sept. 22 at $3.63, down 30.12% or $1.56 from its close on Sept. 21 of $5.19. Luminant, which cited declines in dot-com revenue as a leading contributor to its shortfall, said it is optimistic it will see revenue growth in the fourth quarter, and that it will be profitable no later than the first quarter of 2001.
