Lycos Music, Bertelsmann, set multimillion ad campaign backing Internet music

Internet network Terra Lycos and BMG Entertainment, a unit of Bertelsmann AG, unveiled a joint multi-million dollar advertising campaign to promote BMG artists and Lycos Music. The six, 30-second spots featuring Arista artists Pink, Dido and Outkast, and RCA artists Christina Aguilera and David Gray, are running on MTV, VH1, E!, MSNBC, Sci-Fi, CNBC, Discovery and ESPN. The ads highlight the offerings of Lycos Music (music.lycos.com) and builds on the "Whatever you're into, dig into it deeper on Lycos," messaging from the Lycos ad campaign, created by Hill Holliday, Boston, that launched in October 2000.
