M&C Saatchi suffered $1 mil loss in 1st year

M&C Saatchi, despite its impressive first-year success in attracting major business such as British Airways' $90 million account, posted an after-tax loss of $1 million in its first year. M&C Saatchi reported revenues of $25 million, in the year ended Dec. 31, 1995, according to figures just released. Founding partner David Kershaw said that since September 1995 the agency has been trading at a profit every month, which will be reflected in '96 results.
