latest defensive move against Microsoft Corp.'s Windows 95 is a PR mailing including A video, a Top 10 list on why Macintosh is superior and a "Been there ... done that!" T-shirt celebrating Mac's lifetime achievements. The media mailing was timed to arrive a few days before the Aug. 24 launch of the Mac-like Windows 95. "Why do you suppose those folks in Redmond [Microsoft's home in Washington state] try so hard to imitate us?" the mailing asks. Microsoft, coincidentally, also is the top seller of Macintosh software applications, meaning it wins regardless.
